Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey, the mother of the late James “J Dilla” Yancey, is currently battling lupus; the same disease that took her son’s J Dilla’s life in 2006. In remembrance of J Dilla the crew over at Stones Throw Records have teamed up with designer Parra to create a t-shirt to raise money for Miss Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey to pay for her treatment in helping fight the disease. All proceeds from the t-shirt sales will go to Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey. So, come out the pocket for a good cause.
