Feiyue teamed up with (artist) Steph Cop to create the 10N28E sneaker. Their creation will be released in a very limited run. The concept and design is based on the likeness of Steph’s Aro toy.  The 10N28E  sneaker is printed with Steph Cop’s abstract graphic imagery and are available in  5 colors – pink, green, blue, purple and gray.  An exclusive Aro toy is comes in each box. The Feiyue X Steph Cop 10N28E Sneaker will be available in Septemeber.

For the World 2010 Cup Nike teamed up with Crayola and  Wieden + Kennedy commissioned artist Diem Chau to design and create a set a set of Crayons for a press kit to celebrate the event.  The design team at Wieden Kennedy made the box, base and contents.   Diem Chau carved  the crayons and are based on a metallic/ color theme.  The set consist of 66 crayons individually carved and represents a different player. The kits are very very limited Only 11 kits were made total and the entire process took 18 days to complete. Good luck trying to find these babies.

Danger Mouse, Sparklehorse, and David Lynch are collaborating on a new project   on a new project together. The project titled “Dark Night Of The Soul”  is rumored to  feature, among others, David Lynch, The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas, Iggy Pop, Frank Black and The Flaming Lips‘ Wayne Coyne.  No official release date yet but expect to hear more about it sometime in June.

Opening reception is Saturday April 25th at 7PM PST.

Shepard Fairey known on the underground sub culture art scene for his experiment in phenomenology, and more recently; Fairey gained world wide fame for his Obama poster creation.  Shepard has had an interesting life recently, he’s was sued by the Associated press and arrested in Boston last month during his first major art museum exhibit.    But Things are looking up for MR.  Shepard Fairey, He recently partnered with Saks Fifth Avenue to create an ad campaign.  Shepard Fairey along with Studio Number One employee Cleon Peterson applied  their  propaganda styled street art to the  Saks Fifth Avenue Spring 2009 advertising campaign.
The campaign titled “I Want It” features the typical Shepard Fairey color scheme: red, white and black with big block letters, and Soviet-era graphics spirit of Constructivism art. The campaign posters feature various models wearing high-end brands and individual  products.

The new spring 2009 department store catalog cover and shopping bags will feature the slogan “Want It!” in a few different designs. Not sure how long the campaign will last but, I’m pretty sure the posters and bags will become collectors items.

Here is the latest release from the Converse British Rock Collection. This Spring 2009 release draws it’s inspiration from the  artwork of Pink Floyd albums. There is a “Dark Side Of The Moon”  Chuck Taylor Hi and a Jack Purcell low version.  The “Animals” album artwork is incorporated into the upper of another Chuck Taylor Hi, featuring an all-over photo print.
