The Street-Wear culture suffered a great loss this week.

L-R-G C0-Founder Jonas Bevacqua was found dead at his Laguna Beach home.  The cause of his sudden death is unknown at the moment.
Members of his family found his body at around 11 a.m. in the morning.
Authorities have ruled out homicide, and there is no indication that the 34 year old was suffering from any medical condition.

Jonas  founded Lifted Research Group with his partner,  Robert Wright  in 1999. The company became profitable by 2002, and made its first $1 million in 2000 and by 2006, LRG had annual sales of $150 million and was named by #5 on Entrepreneur magazine’s list of that year’s 500 fastest growing companies.
Jonas had a major  influence on the modern urban street-wear fashion industry and culture.  He will be greatly missed.

Jonas grew up in a multicultural family that included eight siblings, seven of whom, including him, were adopted. He is survived by his mother, father, son, fiance and seven brothers and sisters.

As part of the May releases Nike will drop a new colorway for the Blazer Low. The overall design will remain the same but they have spiced  up the color Blazer Low “Tangy” features terracotta-colored suede upper with teal blue accents, a branded tongue tab and teal blue swoosh.

Here at look at the 2011 Jordan V.2 Grown lineup. The early 2011 Jordan V.2 Grown releases will feature subtle neutral toned uppers with contrasting vibrant colored soles. So far the color schemes we have seen so far are the Grit/Volt-Team Orange(neon-green), Black/Violet-Spark, Matte Silver/Chlorine Blue and Grown Smoke/Team Orange.

Here is a look at the latest Nike hybrid. It’s the “Air Force 1 Duck Boot.” Don’t know, this one is kind of suspect? Not sure if the will work in all area’s. They could definitely catch on the Midwest or East coast and Maybe even Portland, Seattle, and Denver.
