External Combustion II featuring 35 one-of-a-kind customized 1:24 scale Scion XB die-cast cars (Jada Toys) opens this Saturday (4.14.07) from 7 to 11 PM @ Alpha Cult (Long Beach, CA) and runs through May 9th. Timed to coincide with the Long Beach Grand Prix, the show will feature 35 artists’ interpretation of car culture through the customized die-cast Scion XB’s and additional 2D pieces. To really put the event over the top, Alpha Cult has arranged for Graff Artist / Painter Sesoh to paint live during the opening. Finally, the show is sponsored by Jada Toys, Scion and Audiobahn which means great door prizes including a 10″ Audiobahn Tube Subwoofer w/amp.
