The ALIFE Slow Roast Records Showcase is a month-long, 5-city, in-store DJ tour event featuring DJ Craze, Kill the Noise, Klever and select local hometown DJ’s from each city.

The Showcase tour is sponsored by Traktor. They make professional DJ software and equipment.
The tour will feature in-store DJ performances, product give-aways, a chance of winning one of 5 Traktor DJ setups.
Limited edition Alife x Slow Roast tour t-shirts will be Available at each in-store event.

There is also a  “Tuff as Nails Part II” Remix contest.

Tuff as Nails Part II” Remix Contest
AM Only and Slow Roast Records are excited to announce the official “Tuff as Nails Part II” Remix Contest, a chance for one lucky producer to get their work noticed by some of the best DJs in the business.

Remix materials for Klever and Kill the Noise’s track “Tuff as Nails Part II” will be up for download by AM Only.
Producers will have three weeks to make most original mix they can come up with. Finalists will be hand-picked by Slow Roast Head Honchos Kill the Noise and Craze themselves.
The Remix winner will receive:
• a Traktor Maschine from Native Instruments
• a Meet & Greet with Craze, Kill the Noise, and Klever

Slow Roast Showcase “TUFF AS NAILS PT. II” Remix Contest

Feiyue teamed up with (artist) Steph Cop to create the 10N28E sneaker. Their creation will be released in a very limited run. The concept and design is based on the likeness of Steph’s Aro toy.  The 10N28E  sneaker is printed with Steph Cop’s abstract graphic imagery and are available in  5 colors – pink, green, blue, purple and gray.  An exclusive Aro toy is comes in each box. The Feiyue X Steph Cop 10N28E Sneaker will be available in Septemeber.

Big Bio talks about why he chose Converse to partner with and his feeling about the “Classic” Chuck Taylor’s. The collaboration is a very limited run and the shoe is themed around his latest Album release “Sir Lucious Left Foot … The Son of Chico Dusty.”  They are white Chucks with the Big Boi Cadillac Crown logo in Grey on each tongue  and the left shoe reads “Sir Lucious LeftFoot” while the right shoe reads “The Son of Chico Dusty.”  As of right now you can’t even buy a pair. Here is a sneak peek at the latest LeBron James’ Skills Academy PE LBJ23 Zoom LeBron Soldier IV shoe. The shoe is designed with a mix of canvas, red leather with black and white accents. There is no official release date for the Zoom LeBron Soldier IV but, be sure they are going to be pretty limited and hard to get your hands on a pair.

These 2010 CLOT x Nike GS Polos are avaiable in 5 colorways, each based on a color theme of one of the five Juice stores. Each Polo features Chinese styled buttons and the iconic Nike pinwheel logo embroidery. The colors avaiable are red for Juice Taiwan, navy/blue for Juice Shanghai, white for Juice Kuala Lumpur and black for Juice HK. In addition, all Juice stores will have decorated Nike iD shoes with the pinwheel logo, Starting June 18th, 2010.

In order to synchronize with Nike’s “BLEED YOUR COLORS” theme, CLOT has creatively added the iconic CLOT and “67” logo heat prints so that fans are able to personalize their own CLOT x Nike GS Polo. Also, coming together with this creative personalization concept, a new packaging consisting of colorful squares will further enforce the “BLEED YOUR COLORS” concept as the color contrast between the packaging and the polo itself will be enhanced.

For the World 2010 Cup Nike teamed up with Crayola and  Wieden + Kennedy commissioned artist Diem Chau to design and create a set a set of Crayons for a press kit to celebrate the event.  The design team at Wieden Kennedy made the box, base and contents.   Diem Chau carved  the crayons and are based on a metallic/ color theme.  The set consist of 66 crayons individually carved and represents a different player. The kits are very very limited Only 11 kits were made total and the entire process took 18 days to complete. Good luck trying to find these babies.
