On February 6, Brooklyn-based record label and clothing company Ropeadope will venture out of the city and into the World Wide Web with the launch of Ropeadope Digital, an exclusive online-only imprint. New releases by seven Ropeadope Digital artists—including albums from Tokyo turntable whiz DJ Klock and Philadelphia hip-hop duo Electric City—will round out the launch, with almost two dozen more planned for release later this year. The albums will be available for a paltry $7.99 on the Ropeadope website and will also be carried by all major digital music retailers. www.ropeadope.com
