The dudes over at Puma just hit us up with some shots of the “Dino Shop” California. “Dino Shop”, meaning the legendary San Francisco sneaker spot ShoeBiz. ShoeBiz has been in the game since 1979, that’s before many of you were born and your older brother got their kicks from the grocery store. ShoeBiz carried the original California’s during the 80’s and now in 2008 they have collaborated with PUMA to design their very own California, dubbed the “Dino Shop”.
The “Dino Shop” is inspired by Shoebiz’s second store Shoebiz II, also known as “Dino Shop” in reference to their dino mascot. The “Dino Shop” California’s theme is a mash up taken from the San Francisco public transportation system and references to the store with a Dino on the tongue and the year the store opened on the heel. The inner sole features an outline of San Francisco skyline a SF logo and a green and you “Dino” They are dropping in Feb.
